Introduction to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (2.5-3 hours)
This session provides a foundation for equity, diversity and inclusion. In this session, the group will have the opportunity to individually reflect on embedding EDI into their role and discuss organisation priorities.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Have an understanding of what equity, diversity and inclusion is
Be more aware of their unconscious biases and how it affects their work
Start using an intersectionality lens in their work
Identify strategies to be more equitable and inclusive in their role

Often in small organisations, those who have been delegated with an EDI role do not have a background in EDI. This 1-1 support is aimed to support EDI leads to deliver EDI in their organisation and planning.
