Training for educators

  • Asexuality

This session will provide you with an introduction to asexuality, share experiences of asexual people (including Sarah's own personal experiences) and how you can be inclusive to asexual young people in your setting.

  • Embedding LGBTQ+ in the STEM Curriculum

This session will cover why it is important to highlight LGBTQ+ identities within the STEM classroom and how to embed LGBTQ+ people and identities into the curriculum.

“Sarah worked with us to coproduce two training online training sessions aimed at educators. The training focussed on how equality, diversity and inclusion (in all of its forms) can improve classroom experiences for all children. The training mainly focused on EDI in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) subjects as well as broader advice, activities and strategies for real life and relevant classroom situations. Both of the online training sessions were interactive and really engaging. Sarah’s ideas and contacts proved invaluable. Having Sarah, and excellent guest speakers with ‘lived experience’ of the issues raised, really made a difference to what we could offer.”
